We, The Friends of Stoke Minster, are very pleased to announce our next major activity. This will take the form of a Big Auction on Saturday 10th March, 2012, in aid of the restoration of the stained glass windows in The Minster, which are now in urgent need of attention.
Viewing of items will be from 10am and the auction will begin at 11am
Admission: £1, which includes a catalogue and bidding card.
Light refreshments are available and there will also be a table in the leisure area for smaller items of lesser value.
All items are sold as seen and without guarantee.
Previous bids will be accepted during viewing time if notified to the auctioneer.
Payment by cash only.
If you are free on the morning of 10th March, do come along and share in the fun! Also, if you have any items you can spare which you think might be of interest to bidders, please get in touch with us so that we can collect them.
The latest date for receipt of items is lunchtime on Wednesday 7th March 2012.
